A scholarship is an award of financial aid for a student by the government to further his or her education. Scholarships are awarded based upon various criteria, which usually reflect the values and purposes of the donor or founder of the award. The Student Scholarship Cell has been established to serve the purpose of providing help to students for their higher studies. NFSU Guwahati Campus aims high to give ample amount of help needed to the students through government grants, trust and foundation which provides various kinds of scholarships to students.

Merit-Based Scholarship

Top 3 students from NFSU merit prepared on the basis of CLAT/GPAT/GATE/CAT score (for each program) 100 % of the tuition fee
Next 2 students from NFSU merit prepared on the basis of CLAT/GPAT/GATE/CAT score (for each program) 75 % of the tuition fee

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

Criteria Amount (p.a)
Top 3 students from merit whose parents total annual income is Rs. 8.0 lacs or less (the student merit should be within 30 students admitted as per NFSU merit) (for each program) 100 % of the tuition fee
Next 2 students from merit whose parents total annual income is Rs. 8.0 lacs or less (the student merit should be within 30 students admitted as per NFSU merit) (for each program) 75 % of the tuition fee
